Regional information
At the foot of the spectacular Simonsberg mountain in the Franscheoek Valley lies the historic French Huguenot farm Fredericksburg, established in 1690 and now home to Rupert and Rothschild.
Tasting notes
Crisp, Lemon notes with subtle grapefruit nuances and smooth creamy nougat flavours, folowed by lingering macadamia nut undertones.

Vinification details
The grapes were hand picked and 20% was fermented in concrete tanks, the remainder of the juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks and 300 litre French oak barrels. Thereafter the wine was matured in 300 litre French oak barrels for 11 months.
