This is gorgeous on celery, too nice darent buy anymore as I would eat the lot
Lovely creamy blue cheese
We have enjoyed this cheese ever since we first had Saint Agur in France over 10 years ago. It's firmly creamy (if that makes sense) with a well-balanced flavour. Enjoy with tomatoes on fresh crispy bread - delicious
Punches above its weight
If you want to add to an omelette or use in a pasta sauce the salty rich creaminess does the job. Brilliant with oatcakes apple and celery, it's really versatile.
A large piece of cheese, beautifully creamy and tangy. Good on its own with biscuits or makes a wonderful blue cheese and asparagus tart
Farmhouse blue cheese
I much prefer the Danish blue cheese. Saint Augur is fine for consistency, in fact it's lovely and creamy. However, it has a very strong "farmhouse" flavour which is absent in other blue cheeses I tried, and which I absolutely hated.
It is really nice cheese but...
... it's quite heavy on packaging, so have deducted a star
