The passion for exploration has taken the curious mind of PJ Rigney from Drumshanbo to all four corners of the world. His search for nature's purest vodka has taken him through the African Serengeti and south across the equator where he came upon the majestic Kigelia africana, also known as a "Sausage Tree".
As PJ contemplated the majestic plant, he recognised the innate kinship between it and the wild Irish nettle, found in the unspoiled woodlands of Drumshanbo, and also known for its curative and purifying powers. He brought them together at The Shed Distillery with Irish grain to distil nature's purest vodka.
