Preparation and Usage
- 300ml water
2 Easy Steps...
1 Stir the gravy mix with water in a small saucepan.
2 Bring to the boil gently, stirring continuously. Simmer for a couple of mins, until the gravy is rich and smooth.
Microwave (800W)... Microwave ovens vary. The following is a guide only. Empty the gravy mix into a large microwaveable bowl or jug. Stir in water and heat on full power for 4 mins, stirring every minute until rich and smooth. Stir well and ensure piping hot before serving.
Try Something Different: To add extra richness, add 1 tbs brandy and a dash of cream before serving. Ideal for roast pork, served with crackling and apple sauce.
Instructions
Stove Top Method.
1. Empty packet contents into a small saucepan.
2. Blend in 300ml (½ pint) water and bring to the boil, stirring.
3. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until the gravy has thickened.
Microwave Method. (750 WATT)
1. Empty packet contents into a large microwaveable bowl or jug. Blend in the water.
2. Cook on high for 4 minutes, stirring every minute until thickened.
3. Stir well before serving.
Serving Suggestion.
To add extra richness, add 1 tbs brandy and a dash of cream before serving

shocking.
No taste, thin, watery.. Chucked it!

bought this based on the reviews and the picture on the packet but wish I hadn't ... it's runny, bland to the point of having no taste
Hmmm!
Not sure why this has got such a high rating. I found it herby, but not anything to write home about!! I will still to onion gravy in future for my pork.
Nice flavour but needs thickening
I'm from Wales where gravy should be thick. When you follow the instructions to the letter you end up with a gravy that's way to runny - so I either make it up using 2/3rds of the water recommended - or add a touch of extra cornflour. it's a very nice flavour - but appreciate that those over the Welsh border in England might prefer their gravy runny!
