Preparation and Usage
- Always perform an allergy alert test 48 hours prior to colouring
- For long or thick hair we recommended using two packs
- This shade is recommended for hair colours dark blonde to medium brown
- Results may vary on previously coloured hair
- Use a clarifying/deep cleanse shampoo 48 hours prior to application
- Check application range to ensure your natural hair is suitable for your chosen shade
1. Preparation:
- Always perform an Allergy Alert Test 48 hours before each time you colour, even if you've used the product before
- Before applying your colour, cover your clothing with an old towel/cape and put on gloves provided
- Apply to dry, unwashed hair
2. Mixing:
- Unscrew nozzle of Developer Lotion. Pierce the LIVE Colour Cream tube and carefully squeeze the entire contents into the Developer Lotion bottle
- Replace the application nozzle and shake until all components are thoroughly mixed
3. Application:
- Follow application process for either first-time or root regrowth application
- Leave formula to develop for 20-30 minutes
4. Rinsing:
- Rinse hair under warm water until water runs clear
5. Conditioning:
- Apply LIVE Care Conditioner and leave in for 2 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly, hair is left feeling soft and shiny
The colour result will depend on your natural hair colour. The table on the back of the pack provides an indication of the colour result that can be obtained with this shade. Results may vary on previously coloured hair. For long or thick hair we recommend using two packs.

Do not colour your hair if:

Contains hydrogen peroxide and ammonia. See bottom of pack for full list of ingredients. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse immediately if product comes into contact with them. Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows. Rinse hair well after application. Wear suitable gloves.

Lovely colour, fades fast
I was really impressed - the colour took evenly to my (mostly dark grey) regrowth and lightened midlengths and ends, with a beautiful dark blue colour. It faded after about 4 washes to more of a light denim blue though.
Learn how to use and you will not be disappointed
Regardless of whatever you might be told, you NEED to either remove your previous colour with a colour remover or bleach your hair first. Great colour will be achieved after a few applications. I have been using for a year with great results. It also covers completely my abundant white hair.
Subtle blue colour.
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado which I gave to a friend because I was unable to use it. She said it was really easy to use, the colour was subtle in her dark hair, not a drastic alteration.
A subtle colour change
I have very dark brown hair, so didnt see how I could achieve bright blue without fully bleaching my hair first. The answer- you cant. A very subtle blue vibe achieved.
Don’t expect a drastic change
If you have dark brown /black hair then you are not going to achieve a noticeable blue , but i found you do get a hint of colour when the sun hits it. It may be more noticeable on lighter hair, For me it was fine as I didn’t want something too loud but it wasn’t noticeable enough for me to be bothered to use it again. The kit is easy to use
Terribly bad
I was kindly sent this to review, I usually dye my hair a mid brown, but once I received this I got excited about trying a new colour! Looked gorgeous on the packet and thought it would be very nice with my blue eyes. However, even though I left it on for the specified time it didn't do anything at all. Such a disappointment! The colour on the packet truly is stunning, but my hair looked normal after applying and drying. First time I've tried this brand of hair dye, sorry, I wouldn't risk buying one from them in the future. Not worth the time and trouble, such a shame
