exactly what I wanted for a glass standing lamp. gives off a nice soft warm light

soft lighting
Nice warm glow. The test will be to see how long it lasts. I'm not one to moan about packaging but did find the bulb difficult to remove from the box because of the inner retainer. Don't think a retainer is necessary in such a small package.

Good dimmable bulb
It can be hard to find simmable bulbs as a fair price. This certainly does teh trick. A nice light and responds well to the dimmer. Would buy again.
