Preparation and Usage
How to Prepare: Before cooking, check for any broken shells or clams that don't close when tapped-these should be removed. Clean any dirty shells. The clams need to be soaked in cold water for 20 minutes, to filter out any sand.
Instructions
Steam - From Chilled. Take a heavy-bottomed saucepan with a lid that fits well and bring a few inches of water to a rapid simmer. Tip the shells into a steamer or colander and expose them to the steam for 6 minutes, shaking from time to time, until the clam shells have opened.

Fantastic clams
Highly recommend these. Out of 5 tubs I’ve only had to throw 2 clams. Really great flavour and make the best vongole I’ve ever made

Had to review these because they were excellent. I was nervous to cook spaghetti alla vongole for the first time but these were so fresh and the dish looked wonderful. Please keep them in stock

Excellent
I bought these for £4 on a flash sale. I disposed of two, which were not firmly closed. They were free of grit and sand and made an excellent spaghetti vongole.
