Recipes

Steps of Cooking
1. Mix together 1 packet of Shan Chicken Tikka Mix, 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoons of food color, 8-10 tablespoons of lemon juice and 2 tablespoons oil. Apply on 1 1/2 kg/3.3 lbs (8-12 portions, make slits on each) chicken pieces and marinate for 3 hours+.
2. Thread each chicken portion on a skewer and place on low heat on a charcoal or gas grill.
3. Grill evenly on each side until the meat is tender and done. Brush 4 tbsp melted butter on the meat before removing from heat.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve hot Chicken Tikka with fresh green salad, sliced onions, tomatoes and BBQ sauce/Tamarind Chutney/Green Chutney.

Grilled Chicken Tikka:
1. Follow the above recipe until step #1.
2. Place the chicken pieces in a frying pan and grill on high heat for 3 mins each side. Apply 4 tbsp melted butter, cover, and cook on low heat for 10 mins.
