Very disappointing.
Relatively tasteless and produced a bland and watery G&T. I suppose if you don't enjoy the flavour and crisp punch of some alcohol then this would be an acceptable fizz. I was left feeling that I'd rather wasted a good tonic! To my palette it lacked almost every characteristic, taste and aroma that you associate with a proper gin. To be honest I don't think the price of this can ever be reduced sufficiently to tempt me to buy it again.
Absolutely awful!
I was looking forward to receiving this after having had a delightful glass of non alcoholic gin and tonic at my friend's house. The brand name sounded similar but sadly I got it wrong! This one was almost tasteless, like water, except for a whiff of something bitter, almost like saccharin. I actually considered adding some real gin to my glass to give it some flavour but decided to pour it down the sink! I wonder if I can claim a refund?
Not really seeing the point
It tasted even less interesting than water so I had to check the ingredient list to see what’s actually in it (spoiler alert — not much). To be honest I never quite get the 0.0% “spirit” as I can’t understand how a non-alcoholic product can charge the same price even there is no “sin tax”
one of the nicer ones
I think I may prefer seedlip, which is a bit punchier. This is still pleasant enough though
The not-gin gin
As far as Im concerned the best no-gin addition to a tonic & ice Cant understand the run of negative reviews, Glider has lovely botanicals and a great taste. Love this when Ive drawn the driver straw or am just going easy anyway. Agree its expensive - but then Sipsmith gin is too.
What a con!
This is water with the very slightest of watery tastes, certainly nothing like gin botanicals. This is a rip-off! The price is the same as a normal bottle of gin we're paying the same alcohol duty but for water.
