Sipsmith V.J.O.P. (Very Junipery Over Proof) Gin

Sipsmith V.J.O.P. Gin was created for gin connoisseurs looking for the ‘ginniest' gin to be found. The main botanical flavour of gin is dialled up to the extreme, with three times as much juniper as in our classic London Dry Gin and a three-part juniper-infusion process. The rise in juniper flavours needs a rise of ABV, and at 57.7%, it's clear why we named this one our Very Junipery Over Proof Gin.

To balance the juniper flavours, hints of zesty orange and rich spice tumble harmoniously with dark chocolate flavours for a sippable gin that works perfectly with Mediterranean tonic for a G&T or with a splash of vermouth for a classic Martini.

Strong notes of junipery pine and cedarwood dominate first on the nose. Citrus hints follow through from zesty orange. Yet more juniper on the palate, as expected from our juniperiest gin yet. Subtly woven through with rich spice and dark chocolate flavours. A long and dry finish, perfectly balanced to let the juniper shine through at its best.

To build the perfect Gin & Tonic:

Take a highball glass
Fill it with fresh cubes of ice
Add 50ml Sipsmith V.J.O.P. Gin
Add 100ml Mediterranean tonic water
Garnish with an lime twist – a Sipsmith favourite
