Might have been the best “flavoured” gin I tried
I usually go for dry gins but this is surprisingly nice. The “zest” didn’t taste artificial as I had initially feared.
A very nice bottle of Gin
First of all this is a very nice gin. At the first impression there seems to be no more than a hint of orange both on the nose and on the tongue. As you continue with your drink (mine was simple with ice and tonic, no slice) the orange effect gets a little more to the fore. Maybe it needs to be made a touch stronger than whatever is your normal. Very enjoyable. I like it.
Nice but a bit bitter
Not as good as the lemon flavour, slightly too bitter for an orange flavour in my opinion. Good strong flavour though and with lemonade isn't half bad to counteract the bitterness.
Over bitter which spoils the gin
Sipsmith Zesty Orange Gin, Works well as an aperitif before a meal, the orange zest was a little to bitter for my personnel taste, but I can see what a great blend of the two for those who love zest.
Refreshing
I’m not normally a fan of flavoured gins, I have heard a lot about orange gin, so decided to try this one. It is really good very refreshing served with a good quality tonic, definitely one of my favourites now, , definitely worth a try.
Great Flavour
I’ve tried a few of SipSmiths flavoured Gins and this is by far my favourite. It’s refreshing and a good balance of citrus and sweetness. It’s a must try.
