History
The Winery was founded in 1998 after Aldo Olivier Gramola realised the potential for producing superb wines in this semi-arid valley. Aldo Settled with his family in the Elqui Valley in 1951 and has been producing grapes and wine there since 1975.
Regional Information
The exclusive Coquimbo region is Chile's most northerly wine-growing area - renowned for its mineral rich soils and climate of warm days and fresh nights which are ideal for concentration, pure fruit and retention of acidity in the wines.

Vinification Details
The grapes used for Smoking Mountain Sauvignon Blanc are hand picked into small bins, de-stemmed and then crushed. They are then put into stainless steel tanks for 6 months to age.

Light and Drinkable

Bought this when it was half price. I enjoyed it but wouldn't have paid the fill price for it. It's light in flavour but doesn't have much taste to it.

love this wine

Amazing wine, great value on half price offer at £5.99 a bottle, crisp citrus flavour. Will certainly be stocking up in this.

Buy it if it's on offer.

Nice wine, very refreshing with a slight smokey taste. Great value when it's on offer but wouldn't buy at full price.

Loved the smokiness

As other reviewers have said this has a clear smoky flavour, which I found delicious and so did my husband. We love a NZ sauvignon, and this still packs those citrus flavours, but for me the smoky overtone really makes it. Filling my basket while it's on offer.
