Preparation and Usage
1. Brush the surface of your icing, chocolate, sugar work or other food surface with a paintbrush lightly dampened with cooled, boiled water or edible glue.
2. Allow the area to become tacky before attempting to transfer the leaf.
3. It is advisable to protect other areas to prevent accidental transfer of leaf. You may also wish to use tweezers to pick up the gold leaf as it is delicate to handle.

This was purchased to decorate a 50th wedding Anniversary cake. So tiny and far to expensive Would not buy again
Good stuff but so, so tiny
Before ordering, I had read the reviews stating how small this product is. However, it was only upon arrival that I could see that the little pot resembles approximately the size of some medium nail varnish pots. (I had in fact expected the size of a very small paste pot. ) Nevertheless, the contents are gorgeously sparkly and luxurious and for this reason, I would recommend it as a nice addition to everyone's festive food shopping lists.

This product is very expensive for what it is, hardly any gold leaf and the pot is just tiny. Would not buy again. Shame as its a great idea to jazz up cakes but just too expensive.
Makes beautiful cakes
I was offered some washing capsules to review, but received this instead... happy that I did as they made some simple cupcakes look extra special.

I was given this as a freebie to review. Clearly some mix-up as the e-mail said some Bold washing capsules, and I see another reviewer had the same issue. I used it on some mini chocolate puddings. Nice idea but very fiddly and disintegrated.
