Preparation and Usage
Step 1: Exfoliate 24 hours prior to use. Moisturise dry areas including hands, elbows, knees, ankles, feet and any light hair.
Step 2: For best results, apply to skin using our Tan Applicator Mitt in upward circular motions, ensuring all areas are covered. Finally, lightly glide the excess gel on your Mitt over hands and feet. The product gives a light gleam to guide your application and ensure no missed patches.
Step 3: Wait until touch dry before getting dressed. No need to rinse off. You will see a glow after 3 hours, but before getting skin wet, allow 8 hours for your natural looking tan to fully develop.
Step 4: To prolong and maintain your tan, moisturise daily, exfoliate regularly and reapply as required.

baffled
Im baffled by the positive reviews! This is the worst fake tan Ive ever used (Ive used a lot). Extremely streaky (despite careful prep), colour is very orange and it smells like the rest of them. Also very sticky.
Easy application, great colour, prepare carefully
Im reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado some time ago. Ive only just got my legs out for the summer, hence the slow review. The best thing about this product is that its a clear gel-like fake tan which dries quickly and doesnt stain clothes. I applied it with a mitt. You can put it on in the morning and the tan colour, a lovely golden shade, develops over a number of hours. Its also got a pleasant scent, nothing like fake take. However, this isnt idiot proof as I found to my cost. Its important to prepare your skin well: to exfoliate (I didnt) and to moisturise well. If you prepare your skin carefully youll be pleased with the colour and the length of time the colour lasts. If you dont follow the instructions youll end up with some patchiness. Im giving this five stars because my slapdash application is not the products fault.
Make sure to apply carefully, but great if you do
I didn't realise quite how well this product worked, until I used it as a massage oil for my husband not having anything to hand and his shoulders and neck were sore, and then the next day he had a beautiful tanned neck! Do be careful to rub in all over however, because if it's not applied evenly it will appear blotchy. I did get mine for free in return for leaving a review, so I'm not sure I'd spend £33 but I'd certainly get it again on offer.
Excellent fake tan
I was sent this product to review by Ocado. I’m a pale, non-tanning type and found this product to be brilliant. No streaks & I’m not orange! Sometimes I find products look almost opaque on me, not this one. Easy to apply, went onto skin well.
Easy to use & sunk in quickly
Loved how this gave a gentle colour for my pale winter skin but could easily build up the colour and what impressed me was how quickly it sunk in - no waiting around for it to dry so I could get dressed almost straight away. No streaks too although I always use a mitt to apply. It left a faint smell of fake tan but hardly noticeable really. Overall a really good product.
Brilliant brilliant brilliant
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I love st tropez products and this is no exception. The tropical smell is lovely and doesn’t turn into that all too typical digestive biscuit smell. I have very pale skin and this gave me a fab looking glow without being too much. Not at all orange looking. Received lots of comments on how well I looked! A definite winner.
