Great rolling pin
The label came off easily which appeared to be a problem for other reviewers. It was the cheapest one I could fine and it works well, so very pleased.
What were they thinking?!
What's with the label? A bare wood item with a bloody great big label stuck directly onto the item. Either wrap it in plastic or tie a label on. After half an hour, there was residue left with no prospect of it coming off. No alternative but to wash it which rose the grain on the wood. Now the pin isn't smooth so worse than useless. Honestly!
label impossible to remove....
Maybe the stock is mixed because this was a nightmare. Still havent got the glue off. I will have to buy a glue removing solvent. Not sure how safe that is on a cooking utensil though. The wood is quite rough and porous.
Hi, thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. We really do appreciate it. Sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with this product. We always try to make sure that our products are of the highest quality. We will pass your feedback onto the supplier, and we will be in touch with any follow up information that they have. A little tip - To successfully remove any label we recommend that the label is lightly coated in olive oil, left to soak in for a few minutes and you will see that it peels off easily without any trace of glue or stickiness. Many Thanks Sarah
label easy peel now
No label issue, peels off in 2 seconds, no residue, no stickiness, nice and clean. Rolling pin itself does the job - not much else to say really. Happy with this purchase.
Does its job!
A decent rolling pin. I think the label issue has been exaggerated - it took a few mins to peel off and a scrub with hot water and washing liquid for all of one minute, which I'd expect to do anyway before using it. Pretty happy with it.
No label issues here!
I braced myself for a long and lengthy label removal after reading other reviews and can report it took...2 seconds. The label came off in one piece, leaving no visible sticky residue.
