An oaked, matured, fruit driven red wine with a smooth, layered palate

The grapes were harvested, then destemmed but not crushed to preserve whole berry
character. A cold soak of 5 days enhanced color and aroma extraction before a fast, warm
fermentation completed within 2 days. Post-fermentation, the wine was matured on the
lees in cement vessels for 3 months, allowing malolactic fermentation to complete
naturally. Finally, the wine was lightly oaked for 5 months, adding subtle structure and
complexity while retaining its fruit-driven style.
