£28
£40 per litreProduct information
Tanqueray Blackcurrant Royale is a gin made with French blackcurrants and subtle notes of vanilla to deliver a rich and fruity gin with subtle sweetness, balanced with the four classic London Dry botanicals.
Made with French blackcurrants and subtle notes of vanilla, elevated with a black orchid inspired flavour.
Gin botanicals with complex fruity and floral nose. Juicy ripe blackcurrant with subtle sweetness of vanilla and a floral finish.
Tanqueray Blackcurrant Royale is best enjoyed in a copa glass with premium tonic water, plenty of ice and garnished with a wedge of lemon and a bunch of dark berries such as blackcurrants and blackberries.
Made with French blackcurrants, subtle notes of vanilla and black orchid inspired flavor, Tanqueray Blackcurrant Royale is inspired by the French heritage and travels of Charles Tanqueray in the 1840s: a blend of the boldness of Charles Tanqueray and mystery and decadence of France in that era.

Delicious
I have it with fever tree slow berry and damson tonic .. Wonderful autumn drink.
Too sweet
I love Tanqueray & love flavoured gins, so though this would be a winner! OMG it is soooo sweet I just couldnt drink it & thats a first for me :-(
Blackcurrant Spangles
If you're of a certain age you'll remember Spangles, a packet of artificial fruit-flavoured sweets. This gin is exactly the same as the 'blackcurrant' one I'm afraid to say. As was said in a review below blackcurrant doesn't really work as a flavouring for gin, there's a clash of flavours. We'll being revisiting it over the coming months but there will be no repeat purchase.
Mixed
Love all Tanqueray and whilst not horrible and miles better than Cross Keys Blackcurrant I can say maybe Im not a massive fan. There is something about Gin and blackcurrant which in my view dont entirely go well together. However, its still the best flavored Blackcurrant Gin by a long shot and the Tanquery brand is reputable and a damned good drink! Imo you will never beat Tanqueray 10 which is the best. But if you like a blackcurrant gin its still a good one with hints of vanilla. Hubbie loves it.
My favourite
Felt compelled to addd a review as I can't believe the previous rating. I tried a lot of gins throughout the recent you-know-what, and this one is pure joy. Tastes like fruit pastilles with that lovely, mild tanqueray hum. In the words of Jane Macdonald, t really does feel 'royale' !
