very chemical tasting
On first taste, not bad but by the second sip of my coffee, the chemical taste was noticeable. Leaves a nasty aftertaste in mouth too. Not a fan which is a shame as it seemed like a good replacement for the Monin syrups but unfortunately tastes too chemically for me.
WATERY
Very thin and runny for a syrup. Strange aftertaste. Wont buy again. Back to the usual Im afraid!
great flavour
really nice flavour, just wish it was a bigger bottle!
Milkshake miss
Bought to flavour almond and coconut milks to create a milkshake. Instructions say 3 spoons for coffee so reduced to half of one thinking it wouldn’t need to be so strong. Added to both types of milk and all I got in both was an overwhelming chemical vibe. It wasn’t even a caramel flavour, more like toffee/hazelnut mix. Perhaps in coffee or baking it tastes better but in plain mylks it’s just not pleasant or even close to Monin standards.
Better than the French one
Whats not to like - tastes identical - cheaper / and British made
Good on vanilla ice cream too
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I like my coffee on its own so added it on vanilla ice cream instead and it worked well. It has a subtle aroma and is sweet but you also don’t need to add much to get the flavour.
