About The Brand
In 1954, Marc Grégoire followed his wife's advice and as he had done for his fishing gear, used Teflon to coat her pans. The results were astounding! Two years later, Tefal was created to produce non-stick frying pans and became the first creator of non-stick cookware. It was a revolutionary way to make life easier for people.

Too big for standard size hob or induction
Bought as itcwas half price. and although it states not suitable for induction hobs its not obvious ! So ended up selling on ebay. And lost out.
Ok to begin with
Mine just didn't last, My previous frying pan lasted for seven years, it wasnt expensive, under £8 and it worked fine. I was tempted by a Tefal because of the reputation. It felt ok when it arrived, a bit flimsy. not as strong as my old one. Four months later the coating was coming off. The only things I had cooked were bacon, fried eggs and omelettes. I thought, no problem it has a guarantee. Tefal customer services said it was my fault, they tried to blame everything under the sun but just refused to help on a product that no longer worked, they wouldn't even accept that they had a responsibility under Consumer Rights Legislation despite their guarantee saying that the guarantee didnt affect my legal rights. I would never buy another tefal product.
Excellent frying pan
As most, apprehensive about buying a new.frying pan as there is so much choice on the market. A really great purchase. Evenly cooks meat, the whole pan will hold a full cooked breakfast for a family of 4. Don't hesitate to buy

excellent product
bought this in a sale and so pleased - nice and deep, and wonderful quality - I have this in the 28cm version which I always wash after it cools down and dry thoroughly and still using it after 6 years
