Santa Julia (part of the Zuccardi family) were the first to plant organically in Mendoza. They have farmed sustainably for three generations and constantly strive for ways to reduce packaging costs, energy consumption and water usage. Expert winemaker Ruben Ruffo uses hand-harvested grapes from 30 year-old vines grown in organic, sandy soil-based vineyards. Natural yeasts are used for fermentation and the wine is then matured in concrete vats.
