Product Information
Terra Organica is an award-winning, planet-friendly range of organic, vegan and sustainably made wines. Each wine has been expertly blended and crafted in complete harmony with nature, but without any compromise on quality or taste.
A bright, fruit-forward style with gooseberry and lime notes balanced by a touch of minerality. A beautifully expressive and zesty wine with a distinctive coastal character. Enjoy this dry Sauvignon with fresh fish and spicy dishes.
From carefully selected vineyard plots strategically located just 14km from the coastline, Terra Organica proudly sources this cool-climate Sauvignon from Viña Garcés Silva. Here, the Humboldt current has one of the most influential cooling effects on the region ensuring vines are kept fresh, helping to balance sugars and acidity in the grapes, whilst the double cane pruning system allows flexible canopy management to control sunlight exposure for optimum ripeness.
The winery is 100% organic and prioritises soil health and regenerative viticultural practices to increase the organic matter in soils. In the winter, sheep are released into the vineyards to naturally manage weed-growth and home-made compost is applied to add nutrients back into the soil.
Winemaker Luca Hodgkinson implements plot-specific harvesting time depending on grape ripeness levels. Following a 20-day ferment, the wine is racked and stirred in tanks for several weeks to enhance flavours and texture.
Terra Organica is committed to sustainable winemaking, which is why we have removed all unnecessary packaging (such as cork capsules), only use FSC accredited paper and cartons and use lighter-weight bottles made from a high percentage of recycled glass.
Awarded Gold in the Harpers 2023 Packaging and Design Awards.
