Watch your teeth!
This used to be such a great product and my family and I used to go through a few bags a week. However the last few months a large portion of the contents have rather been really dark and bitter or as hard as stones. My daughter nearly chipped a tooth on it and after looking in the bag there were handful of stone like golden berries. I have stopped buying this product for now. However hoping they will bring back the old plump sweet berries as they were delicious.
My one-year old loves these...
... as do I. I buy them for variation and for their nutritional value, and there are many more berries in this bag compared to the chocolate-covered version. Worth buying several when on offer.
Sweet soft and healthy . Great for snacks
I love physalis or as they now seem to be called, golden berries. Fresh they are lovely, albeit confined mostly as a posh garnish on an average dessert. Dried, they are ideal as a snack, they are the size of a large raisin but full of tiny seeds which aren't noticeable. What I don't understand is why Terrafertil felt that the berries needed pineapple juice to sweeten which makes some of the berries sickly. The mix of naturally sweet and shudder inducingly sour berries is half the fun!!
Great quality with a robust flavour
Very enjoyable berries. they make a great healthy snack.
I'm a fan of dried fruit and had never tried these before. The berries had a lovely sweet flavour but were very heavy on the seeds. I also tried these in baking in replacement of raisins and they worked very well. I will be buying again!
