Regional information
The Comte Tolosan region encompasses a large area of South-West France. The vineyards used for this wine in particular come from the Cahors district, which is situated along the Lot River, equidistant between the Mediterranean ocean and the Pyrenees, meaning the vineyards are in an ideal location to grow excellent quality grapes.

Vinification details
Harvested from 20 year old vines, the grapes are de-stemmed and fermented at 22°C for 8 days in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation then takes place which gives the wine its softness. Ageing with oak for two months to give this wine further character.
