Disappointing
Trying to be a bit more economical and thought a jar of preserved lime leaves would be a great solution to this but had to throw the jar out. After a week in the fridge the leaves had grown mould spores. Will stick to dried kaffir lime leaves going forward.
Like straining tea leaves through your teeth
Bought these because usual brand was not available. Most unpleasant in our recipe. They are in tiny pieces and they do not break down..
pretty gross
Barely any taste.
NO - do not buy
I brought these as my usual was out of stock. These are awful. Taste nothing like any other I have tried. Really messed up the flavour of the food I was making. They are awful.
Thai leaves \- really ?
Absolutely dreadful and packaging states Kaffir lime leaves, but these are just lime leaves. Tasteless, woody, no fragrance, went straight in the bin.
not kaffir, just lime leaves. complete CON
The photo of the label advertised says kaffir lime leaves but the label that arrived just says Thai lime leaves and the ingredients say lime leaves. Kaffir lime and lime are not the same. regular lime leaves are a poor substitute for kaffir lime leaves because they are more bitter and less aromatic.
