fantastic

This really helps add flavour and adds to the base of a dish. wish we found sooner absolutely love in noodle soup dishes ect.

Perfect substitute

I find this to be a perfect substitute. When used in recipes you simply cannot tell the difference. I haven't compared it neat.. because, well, you wouldn't ever drink fish sauce neat would you?

Works brilliantly in our Thai recipes

This fish sauce alternative works really well in our Thai recipes. To be honest, I think that I prefer it and the non-vegetarians in the house haven't noticed a difference. Definitely worth trying.

Accidental purchase

So, I had no idea this was a vegetarian substitute when purchasing, however on eating it, it's blatantly obvious this doesn't work well as a substitute. One of the main ingredients is salt, it's awful and went straight in the bin.

great substitute

Not as pungent and fishy as normal fish sauce, so just use a little more. Great as it feels a lot more confident to leave it in the fridge for months at a time between uses and not worrying about food poisoning!
