Absolutely Dreadful
I purchased this as an alternative to Atkins and Potts as that brand is no longer available on Ocado. This was just awful. It was really acidic and tasted so vinegary. It overpowered anything it touched on the plate. At £4.10 it’s very expensive. Cannot recommend this at all and certainly wouldn’t buy again. Would give zero stars if that was an option.
A Perfect Summer Gravy.
I use this in my summer shepherds pie (with white mince, not red) & the whole family keep saying its one of their fav meals. Its tangy, but light & aromatic. It has to be paired with white meat & or veg. & its definitely a spring/summer thing. I can see it wouldnt be great as a gravy directly. Works so much better with casseroles/stews/shepherds pie as a tasty stock. Its delicious if used correctly!
Horrible
Tasted too much like wine, didn't enjoy at all
Not a patch on Atkins \x26 Pots
Very odd overpowering flavour. We only bought this as the Atkins & pots white wine gravy has been unavailable for ages but we won't buy this again. Snubbed by the whole family I'm afraid.
Not pleasant
Strange flavour and too acidic. Wont be buying this again.
Ok
This gravy is ok. The mushroom one from the same brand is way better, but this one is good enough to be bought and used if the mushroom one is out of stock.
