Preparation and Usage
| Cooking Instructions: This product is raw and must be cooked prior to consumption. This is a guideline only. Remove from packaging 15 mins before cooking. Preheat oven to Electric 190⁰C | Fan 170⁰C | Gas 5. Place joint in a large roasting tray, season and add water or stock (approx 1 inch). Cover with foil and place in the centre of the oven for 4 hours, turn halfway through cooking. Increase the oven temperature to Electric 220⁰C / Fan 200⁰C / Gas 7, remove foil and cook for a further 20 mins. When cooked remove from oven and leave to rest for 10 mins. Remove from bone and carve using a sharp knife or shred by pulling the meat with two forks. Do not reheat. |
