very good whiskey
Bought as a gift the recipient was very pleased
Smooth
Really lovely introduction to whisky drinking. Smooth when drunk neat. Delicious mixed with ginger.
Oh yes....
Full of flavour, lots of vanilla fudge on the palate. At 60% its on the strong side and may benefit from a drop or two of water to bring the volume down but delicious with or without the added water.
Bautifully smooth
This was sent to me as a sample to review, and we tasted it with a group of friends, who all agreed that it was extremely nice, rich and warming, good to drink on its own. It tastes like a deeper darker whisky than its light colour would suggest.
So smooth, with a fiery kick
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. This is a truly delicious whisky. From the first sip, the quality is clear as it fills your mouth with a wonderful smoothness of taste and texture. After that, the heat kicks in and you're reminded of the depth of a really great single malt. Fantastic! For something a bit special, I'd highly recommend this - we are just having to be disciplined and not drink it all too quickly: it's too much of a treat!
Wow!
I was sent this to try and decided to keep for a special occasion. It is a noticeably pale Scotch but so smooth! On the rocks is best but it is exceptionally strong so don't get too tempted by its moreishness.
