How do you like your porkers...
Olly likes his Proper Porkers in a classic toad in the hole with mash and gravy.

Cooking guidelines

Oven cook - From Chilled. 200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6 for 30 mins
1. Preheat oven, remove outer packaging and put the sachet aside for later.
2. Empty contents of pouch into a deep baking tray, cover loosely with foil and place in the oven for 25 mins.
3. Remove from the oven and discard the foil.
4. Add the sachet of sauce to the meat and gently shred using two forks, ensuring the meat is coated well.
5. Return to the oven and cook for a further 5 mins.

Keep refrigerated below 5°C. Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours. Suitable for freezing. Freeze by date mark shown and use within one month. Defrost thoroughly at the bottom of the fridge before use and use within 24 hours. Never defrost in a warm room. Do not refreeze once defrosted.

The Jolly Hog is three brothers, all totally passionate about Jolly Good Food. What does that mean?
It means food full of full-on flavour that you'll want to share. Food made in the right way, championing animal welfare and protecting our planet. Jolly Good Food for jolly good times - from our family to yours.


Once upon a time, our lives were very different. A rugby player, a ship broker and a cabinet maker - three brothers united by a love of food, in search of the perfect sausage.
2007 - Given a sausage maker by his wife for his birthday, Olly makes our first ever sausage in his flat. Soon they're sizzling nicely and selling fast - starting in the carpark of Twickenham Stoop stadium.
After several summers sharing jolly good times and selling jolly good sausages at festivals, we open our first restaurant.
2015 - Pigsty
Boom! Our sausages hit the shops. Bacon quickly follows.
2020 - Lockdown. A bit of a gamechanger - restaurants and events go on the backburner, but our shop sales are heating up!
2022 - Our commitment to do business responsibly is recognised as we become a B Corp. We're jolly proud.
