Very nice indeed
I don't understand the negative reviews at all. My piece was very nice and moist, and contained only three small pieces of bone. I think it's very important to stick to the preparation guidelines, i.e. empty everything in the inner bag into the outer bag and then heat in the oven as directed. If you omit some of the sauce at that stage, I can imagine that the meat turns out dry. And, as the comment from the manufacturer states, as the weight includes both sauce and bones, it's only intended to be enough for one person. That means that it's a bit expensive at full price, but I bought it at a 30% discount, and at that price it's a very decent dinner for one.
Its mainly bone, hardly and meat and a dry as a Nuns you know what. Dont bother spending your hard earned cash on this.
Gravy very concentrated with strong minted taste. Could not eat it though my husband persisted The cat would not eat it.
dry, chewy with too much bone and fat
As per the title, not nice at all. Better to go for the lamb shanks by the same company which are 2 for £8
Thought we would try this whilst it was on offer. Gravy was very thick with a strange taste. It will advertised as bone in but you do not expect 50% to be bone , barely enough meat for 2 people
Supplier's response - We are sorry you didn't like this product. It would appear that the product has dried out more than it should have during cooking. Our products are designed to be a generous serves 1 portion, it is slow cooked on the bone to help generate as much flavour as possible from the lamb. We hope you will give the product and the rest of the range another try.
