The Lakes Distillery ONE Moscatel Wine Cask Expression Whisky

A delicate and fragrant whisky, The One Moscatel Fine Blended Whisky is finished in hand-selected Moscatel wine casks.
Similar in style to PX, the Moscatel wine is made with grapes from the small town of Chipiona, in Andalucía. Using the traditional Soleo process, the grapes are sun-dried before being pressed, which reduces their water content and alters sugar levels. This shift in the juice's viscosity, flavour, and aroma results in fresh and floral characters in the cask.

expertise, uniting The Lakes single malt with select Scotch grain and malt whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside, and Islay, each finished in fine oak casks.
