The Newt in Somerset Lamb, Pearl Barley & Vegetable Stew

This stew offers a hearty take on the classic British hot pot, with tender lamb slowly cooked with carrots, swede and pearl barley, lifted with a touch of bay, rosemary and oregano. A satisfying meal for two, enjoy simply with herby buttered potatoes and seasonal greens for a rather good lunch or supper.

Ready in 5 Minutes

Keep Refrigerated; Not Suitable for Home Freezing

Hob - From Chilled. 1. Heat on the hob from chilled.
2. Remove all packaging and empty contents into a saucepan.
3. Heat gently on a medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Do not allow stew to boil.
5. Check food is piping hot and then serve.
Once cooked, do not reheat. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
