The Spice Mix
Fenugreek for savoury aroma
Black cardamom for smoky depth
Green cardamom for freshness
Clove for pungent sweetness
Cassia for sweet warmth
Whole red chilli for clean heat
Tikka Masala is thought to be a British invention, but its true origins are firmly rooted in India as the restaurant favourite, butter chicken.
The chicken itself is normally marinated in a lovely spiced yoghurt base before being cooked to smoky perfection in a searing hot tandoor. It is then shredded and stirred into the masala.
The masala is a harmony of sweet, tart tomatoes and mellow spices with hints of garlic and ginger. It is loved by all Indians, and is known to be the king of all North Indian sauces.

But not as good as the other spice Taylor sauces
unfortunately we didn't enjoy this curry sauce at all. it had an impact on our stomach and the smell in the kitchen last days! we will never ever cook with this range.
2 out of 3
Two of us really liked it and one did not. Was very easy and quick to do which is a great bonus after a busy day. Like other reviewers took a few days for the smell to disappear.
Take the Smell Reviews seriously
So I read the reviews and thought how bad can the smell be? I enjoy having curry very regularly so thought of myself as something of an expert. Oh my goodness! Its been over a week, the bins have been cleared, the dishes have been scrubbed profusely, numerous candles lit, I have even been to the USA and back again.. I cannot get this smell to leave my house! It greets me as I walk through the door. As for the curry itself, it was fine. I wasnt raving about it but neither was I disappointed. I wouldnt purchase again though.
£2.90 for More Water and Less Yoghurt!
Water is now 2nd on the ingredient list, not 5th. Both packets of sauce seemed very watery. I thought I was imagining it & continued preparing our meal with Everest paneer. I was very disappointed upon tasting the finished meal. The sauce was thin, lacked richness and quite honestly spoilt the paneer. Had I known I was paying £2.90 for extra water, I wouldn't have bothered. I did like this sauce, but the high water content has ruined it. I hope the Korma hasn't gone the same way. A poor way to increase profits. Cheat Day Saviour!
I usually make my curries from scratch, but after a 12 hour work shift I just want to whip up a fast prawn curry and this does the job nicely! I add a touch of cream or coconut cream to my dishes and always add plenty of fresh coriander.
