If this was a cryptic crossword, the clue would be 'futo' and because you're a right clever-clogs, you'd know the answer is scrambled tofu. Little pieces of pre-scrambled Tofoo, seasoned to perfection and ready to go. Enjoy yours on toasted sourdough, mixed with mayo in a sandwich or go super fancy pants on a bagel with wilted greens.

quick to prepare
Shared a packet for lunch with some beans on toast, I have made my own before which honestly I preferred to this, but it was quick and easy ...
...it is a very small portion so expensive for what it is.
So easy if in a rush and I personally really liked the texture and taste.
I thought this was pretty good. The only thing I would add is it's quite a small portion for the price. A great substitution for eggs
I normally make my own scrambled tofu (fry chopped onion, pepper, mushroom, spice, add tofu which has been drained in kitchen towel and chopped finely, flavour with soy sauce). I think that this is unpressed, just coagulated tofu, separated by various spices and vacuum packed back together. So, the texture isnt pleasant, and it wont absorb the flavours of added veg because you cant drain it. Just foul.
Grainy and tasteless
I bought this whilst on offer and with a coupon, so it only cost £1.35 and seemed worth the risk (given the mixed reviews). It had a very grainy texture straight from the packet and only got worse with cooking. There was not a lot of flavour to it - fair enough, it's tofu but with an unfortunate texture as well it was very disappointing. Perhaps I suffered the 'curse of the Ocado too special offer' and they were off-loading a bad batch? I might try it again one day but wouldn't be in a hurry to do so.
