We've left this Tempeh au naturel so you can cook it your way. Start with a firm, dense texture and an earthy, nutty flavour, then slice, dice, crumble it or whatever you fancy. Now marinate, fry, bake or glaze - you're the master of your own mealtimes. Try whipping up a carbonara, a curry or a monster sandwich dripping with BBQ sauce.

love Tempeh but have had quality issues
Tempeh is amazing (and sooo good in satay) but I've had completely "off" blocks of this one. Perhaps the packaging not being sealed correctly?
As a vegan, this is a great source of protein. Really delicious and would recommend.
Ate a couple of pieces in a stir fry, rest went in the bin which is very unusual for our household.
Our family loves this tempeh! It has a lovely, distinctive taste and squeakiness to the texture. There aren't many other tempeh products available on Ocado, but we do like The Tofoo Co products, this one is not different!
The worst Tempeh I've ever had
This tastes nothing like the one I usually get from my Asian market and is 3 times the price!! Why?? This tempeh is really hard, it's supposed to be much softer and much more crunchy when fried. I guess that's what happens when someone realises that a product invented centuries ago can actually be rebranded as a meat replacement and be sold at an increased price because people will buy it anyway for ethical reasons. In Indonesia where this was invented, Tempeh is used as a meat replacement for the people who can't afford meat as it's way cheaper that chicken for instance. It is also part of normal meat based dishes because it's delicious unlike this tempeh.
New favourite product
I buy this every week now. Has to be cooked properly, but such a great carrier of flavour.
