I've never tried a bacon alternative before and used this instead of bacon in a creamy sauce. I was surprised by how meaty the taste and texture were, although on opening the pack, I thought it looked more like mackerel. The problem I have with the taste is the overbearing smokiness, perhaps required to reproduce the meaty taste. Unfortunately, I won't be buying again as the overtly smoked aroma nearly gave me a headache.

Absolutely love this. Super quick and easy to cook, delicious. Great for a breakfast nap or a fry up! My bon vegan hubby likes it very much too!

Need to be Individually wrapped

This bacon is really nice, but it is all clumped together and impossible when trying to prize the rashers apart when frozen. Going to purchase the straky bacon instead, which come seperate.

Like other people have said, this was really hard and chewy. I couldnt eat it. It also has a weird look to it, like smoked mackerel pieces, and tasted almost fishy, not at all meaty.
