super convenient

These are a regular freezer staple ready to throw in a stir fry or pasta. I cook from frozen. The ines Ive bought recently have also had the black vein removed which is great.

Tiger delight

These are the best frozen prawns! Always consistent quality and nice big sized prawns. I take out the amount needed the evening before and leave to defrost in the fridge overnight. Perfect for pasta dishes, gambas pil pil and curries.

Suspect

These taste ok; not like whole prawns, but fine for curries and the like. My main conccern, and the reasonthe dont get a recommendationa dn why i will notuse them any more, is the dodgy provenance and unsupported (meaningless) assertion of "responsibly sourced". There are plenty of properly certified ASC or MSC products out there ; In this day and age, selling unsustainable seafood is unforgivable.

nice big bag of fat prawns

like all frozen prawns they lack flavour but are great for cooking. I buy when on offer as they are pricey

These are NOT deveined

In no way, shape or form are these deveined. There has been no attempt at deveining a single one (no split along the back for example and no attempt to remove anything from the tail end). So much for a quick and easy prawn/noodle dish. This type of poor (mis) advertising directly influences future purchases from Ocado; not only of this product, but also additional products. No need to purchase Gyoza skins with my next order as I will not be making prawn Gyoza and accompanying dishes.

Excellent

Purchased a few packets of these when on half price. Really tasty prawns. Star off for having to devein, but easy enough to do. Fried off in Frozen M&S Garlic Butter, added 5 portions of Picard Bechamel Sauce, a carton of Chef Parmalat Salmon Cream and Parmesan Cheese. Then added cooked linguini pasta to coat and ground black pepper. Convenient meal, ready in 12 minutes.
