I purchased this for my daughter who was 8 (just turned 9). I am a big fan of Mog - the forgetful cat by Judith Kerr and bought it for my daughter years ago. So when I saw this I had to get it and what a hit it was! My daughter really enjoyed reading it and we were laughing out load all the way through - she had to stop several times as she was laughing to the point of tears. An excellent story and superbly written about a tiger who turns up uninvited for tea and eats everything, then leaves. I would say suitable for children around 4 and suitable for children to read alone about 6 or 7, depending on ability (my daughter needed some assistance but has learning difficulties).
