A ripe and velvety organic Montepulciano with subtle tannins and a slight herbaceous feel which lifts the dark cherry fruit. Fresh, mineral and crisp with peristence and a full-bodied mouthfeel. Perfect with rich grilled meat courses, cured meats, seasoned cheeses, and lasagna.

Torri Cantine was originally a cooperative established in 1966 but has since become a small private estate with around 25 hectares of mature vines. The vineyards are fully converted to organic wine production, with sites dotted through the foothills below the Gran Sasso mountain.

Torri Cantine

Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a max of 20C. The wine spent 10 hours in contact with the skins to encourage the distinctive dark colour and complexity.
