Classic Tomato Soup
Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
1 purple onion, peeled
5 cloves garlic, whole
1 3/4 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 Cartons Tuscanini Tomato Sauce
Directions: In a large pot over medium heat add butter, onion and garlic. Stir until butter is melted and onion and garlic become fragrant. Add all three cartons of tomato sauce and then refill each carton up to the top with water. Add all three cartons of water to the pot and refill one more carton with water for a total of four cartons of water. Cover the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove onion and garlic with a slotted spoon. Serve hot.
