"I always get a packet of these in my weekly shop and, since they are regularly on special offer for two packets, there is often a couple of them in my fridge. They are proper frankfurters, not at all like those soft flabby ones we used to get in tins when I was a child. They’re great sliced up and warmed in a pulse-thick soup, or served whole with sauerkraut or cabbage and boiled potatoes, or simply dipped into mustard, or made into sandwiches, for a quick bite. Place in a pan of simmering water for 4 minutes.; Shallow Fry - From Chilled. Remove all packaging. Fry in a pan in 1 tsp of oil over a moderate heat for 3 minutes, turning regularly.
