'I wouldn’t like to say how many of these I’ve got through over the years, but they are a must-have ingredient for me. They take just 15 minutes to cook in a 190ºC/170ºC fan/gas mark 5 oven but won’t suffer if you cook them for longer if, say, you want to roast them with chicken thighs which I often do. They’re also gorgeous roasted alongside small cubes of potatoes, which crisp up wonderfully in the spicy fat of these little sausages.' Nigella Lawson

Instructions
Oven cook - From Chilled. Pre-heat oven to 190°C, Gas mark 5/170°C for fan assisted. Remove all packaging. Place on baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven, cook for 15 minutes. Turning halfway through cooking. Allow to stand for 2 minutes before serving. Do not reheat once cooled.

Maybe I had an unlucky batch, but there was lots of gristle and thats a big no for me!

Mouldy before BBE date
Stored in fridge. Packet still sealed. Mouldy 1 week after purchase. Not sure if is a dodgy packet but very disappointing.

Hell these are good
Can cook and serve whole as they’re quite small or chop/slice into easy home made paella (heaven) or casserole. Fantastically convenient and very tasty.

Great for cooking
I find these are best either baked whole in the oven, or fried then added to a dish (or just thinly sliced onto pizza. Good texture and lovely, sparky flavour.
