Quinta da Calçada is in the heart of the Vinho Verde region in Amarante. Owned by the da Mota family since 1917, the winery is one of the oldest producers in Vinho Verde, with a focus on high quality white wines and sparkling.

Vinification details

The carefully selected grapes were de-stemmed and lightly pressed with the extracted juice transferred to each stainless steel vat using gravity rather than a pump. It was then fermented at controlled temperatures over two weeks before filtering and bottling.
