Product Information
Casa Vecchio Mulino Mini Lingue with Sea Salt – ‘lingue’ or tongue, and traditionally the mother in laws, is what gives these long, flat, tongue-shaped flatbreads their notable and rather cheeky name. These are mini-me versions and equally yummy. The simple sea salt flavour makes them wonderfully moreish.
Handcrafted with just a few high-quality ingredients of flour, water and extra virgin olive oil.
Casa Vecchio Mulino Mini Lingue with Sea Salt - brilliant with any accompaniment, on their own and a great alternative to bread.
Casa Vecchia Mulino – a small family business with a history dating back to 1860 when a young Giacomo Bertolone opened a bakery in Pino Torinese and quickly became renowned and celebrated for his breadsticks, named ‘Rubatà’. Now located just 25kms from Turin, one of Italy’s most northern of regions, Giacomo’s recipes and traditional baking methods - each piece stretched by hand with a slow rise and bake technique - have earnt Casa Vecchio Mulino a seat at Italy’s artisan food table as expert craftsmen of savoury snacks. Just like their great, great grandfather 150 years ago, the current owners produce authentic, artisan, simple and appetising selections of flatbreads, grissini breadsticks and more, all paying homage to Nonno Giacamo. A ‘go to’ choice for the most sensational of savoury bites
