Climate Vintage: The beginning of spring saw a good amount of rain and slightly higher temperatures than the seasonal average, which favoured a slight anticipation of the budding phase. In the following period, average temperatures and rainfall led to excellent flowering and vegetative cycle. Rains at the beginning of summer maintained a good plant growth equilibrium which lasted throughout the month of August. Notwithstanding the high day temperatures, nights were cool and assured the full ripening of all grape varieties. As a result, the ripening of the grapes proceeded optimally, guaranteeing the presumption of an excellent harvest.

I was really looking forward to tasting this wine however a tad disappointing especially after reading other reviews. It was ok but wouldnt rush out to buy it again even on offer. We all have different tastes and favourites which makes trying different wine so interesting.
An explosion -
of nose & mouth sensations. A beautiful, rich full bodied, fruity red wine. Grand
Bought this on the basis of all the good reviews. Served with steak au poivre and my guests were very complimentary and polished off two bottles sharpish. I thought it was excellent - full bodied but not overpowering. We were able to quaff a glass without food and it worked beautifully with the meal too. Recommended.
Delicious accompaniment to anything, or just great company!
I took this to a friend's for dinner. She was delighted as it had been one of her father's favourites. Soft tannins, slightly spicey and an excellent length. A very elegant wine.
All time classic
Superb value if you are looking for a taste of Tuscany. Best when accompanying red meat on a warm summer evening.
