L'Olivella was founded in 1986 by expert viticulturist Umberto Notarnicola and wine expert from Piedmont, Bruno Violo. The winery is young, dynamic with a focus on sustainable agricultural practices. Volcanic soils from the region are rich in desirable minerals which help vine development and contribute depth and complexity to the wines.

Vines are trained using the Guyot system, with controlled yields to ensure concentration and quality. Planted at high density, the vineyards sit on gently sloping, well-exposed hills with excellent ventilation. The volcanic soils, naturally rich in minerals, help bring freshness, structure and character to the wine.

A clean, floral nose with hints of citrus fruit. A weighty mouthfeel and full body intensifies flavours of lemon, grapefruit and a subtle floral character. The finish is long, revealing savoury almond notes

Grapes are carefully selected and picked by hand at optimal ripeness. Each variety is vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and purity of fruit, with no oak influence to keep the style clean and vibrant.
