Product Information
The River Vero has carved out the beauty of the rolling Somontano landscape: pure, crystalline streams, hill crowned with ancient ruins. The solemn peaks of the Pyrenees dominate the horizon to the north.
The wine is bright, intense red in colour with expressive, strong aromas of ripe red fruit & elegant notes of toast on the nose adding fine character. Mild on the palate at first, flavours then burst through. Long, elegant finish & pleasant, long-lasting aftertaste.
Please drink responsibly: The UK Chief Medical Officers recommend adults do not regularly drink more than 14 units per week

Vinification details
The Tempranillo vineyards were harvested during the second week of September, the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were picked a week later. All grapes were destemmed and crushed before being chilled and placed in vats. The must was then left to macerate on its skins for 48 hours before the fermentation process (for 14 days). Once fermentation had finished wine was drawn off. Only the free-run juice being used to make the final coupage, which was barrel aged for 8 months, after which it was filtered & bottled.
