Great Dairy Substitute

I have been trying to cut back on my dairy consumption, and found this cheese to be a pleasant substitute. It is especially delicious in a sourdough toastie!

Great vegan cheddar

This cheddar is great as a ploughmans sandwich, cheese and pickle sandwich, cheese and beetroot or cheese and coleslaw sandwich. We buy this one, cathedral city and applewoods smoked vegan cheeses. We have not had dairy cheese for years now, can't abide the smell, let alone the taste, doesn't take long to adjust the taste buds or digestive system. Avoiding dairy is the best thing we did. For the planet, animals and our own health.

Sadly not good \x22raw\x22

(The VioLife BUTTER substitute is great.) Sadly this is awful unless you cook it. I like cheese and biscuits, and this smells like Dairylea (which I can't abide) and tastes like it too. Vile texture. A bit better on a pizza or on toast.

Not terrible!

OK, so its never going to be as good as regular cheese but this really isnt bad at all. It melts great and makes a great toastie. As far as vegan cheese goes, this is probably one of the best options.
