Pineapple is a complimentary addition to coconut water. I find plain coconut water bland and bitter, so it is good to discover a delicious variation. The pineapple flavour is pure and refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. The pineapple does not affect the smooth consistency of the water. I feel instantly hydrated by this drink. It is most delicious ice-cold. The screw top bottle is handy and a generous portion.
Pineapple tasted off
If I'm honest, I wasn't expecting much, as I'm not a fan of Pina Colada. The flavour was just off, like pineapple that's been left out too long. I gave it to my Mom to try - who is a big fan of the Coco Cafe - and even she agreed that it tasted like it had gone off. The weird part, was that the aftertaste was really nice and refreshing.
lovely and fruity
Love this! Really pineapple and fruity. Tastes so fresh and homemade.
Pleasant, light pineapple flavour
This has a nice light pineapple flavour to it so is not overpoweringly sweet. Coconut water contains high levels of vitamins and minerals and prevents dehydration. This is a little known fact but it is also very good if you experience grogginess after an epileptic fit as the abundance of electrolytes help to re-energise the body.
Delicious tropical flavour
My second favourite flavour after the Peach and Mango version, coconut and pineapple as we know go very well together and are delicious here. I wasn't sure about coconut water although I have now been converted and love the taste. If you aren't sure either I'd recommend this and the Peach and Mango version to begin with, as they are delicious as drinks in their own right even if you aren't fussed with the health benefits.
PMS SUFFERERS - Helps with the CRAMPS
I LOVE IT, a MUST have in my cabinet / fridge and apart from the health benefits which are amazing, THE PINEAPPLE COMBINATION IS EXTREMELY REFRESHING. * ALSO FOR THE PMS SUFFERERS OUT THERE, I really believe this has helped the whole PMS cramps and water retention feeling. (i.e. pineapple perhaps has a diuretic effect? and potassium perhaps soothes the cramps?) I dont know the explanation, but hey it IS working and that's all that matters to me.
