Product information

Another award-winning Tequila from VIVIR. To produce their Tequila Reposado they age their Tequila Blanco for 6 months in American Oak bourbon casks to add maturity and complexity to its profile. It has earthy notes of Agave followed by tones of vanilla, caramel and melted butter. Perfect for sipping or in classic cocktails such as an Old Fashioned or Negroni. Also mixes particularly well with ginger ale.

Pricey but worth it

I've never been a big reposada fan, preferring anejo for sipping. I stick to reposada for margaritas. This was on offer (meaning it's the going price) with good reviews, and it's changed my mind. It's brilliant, the vanilla is almost caramel-y. It still has that agave body that comes through quite well., but note that for some the vanilla is heavy and unbalanced. For me, it's delicious. Definitely worth sipping.

Great for margaritas

Got this free to review. Very generous of Ocado and absolutely delish in a cocktail. Subtle flavour of vanilla too. Made a delish margarita.

Wonderful drink
